When our clients bought their home to create memories with their firstborn, they envisioned a warm and inviting sanctuary for their growing family. While the house featured beautiful elements like an original brick fireplace, wooden floors, and vaulted ceilings, it required softening touches and updates to achieve their vision. To brighten the space, they incorporated a coastal color palette of blues, ivories, and tans. The kitchen layout remained unchanged, but the existing black granite was replaced with Calacatta Gold quartz featuring a waterfall detail, complemented by a stainless steel undercounter sink and a white farmhouse sink. The fireplace was updated with stunning Spanish tile and adorned with an oak mantle, while the dated staircase was redesigned to meet code with oak steps, black matte balustrades, and an oak railing.
